Ideal Classes started in 1987 with 40 students in a small classroom at Goregaon (W) & since then it went on growing every year. It was the ambition & vision of Prof. Walawalkar to run a class for commerce students. The hard work & sincere efforts of this one man resulted in a huge increase in students strength. Soon the need arose to expand. In 1992 a new branch was opened at Borivali & then almost every year a new branch or a new division was added. As on today IDEAL operates from locations spread over western suburbs, Dadar to Virar.
The classes are conducted in air-conditioned classrooms & coaching is carried out not only for Commerce but also for Science, School, Management Entrance, Professional Courses & Competitive Exams.
In the coming years, IDEAL plans to expand vertically as well as horizontally. It has also decided to expand its professional coaching to a higher level. It plans to enter into coaching via v-sat. The vision is to give quality teaching for at least 25,000 students every year by 2012.
